The Missing Component - SALES!

It has been noted that if Leonardo DeVinci had had access to certain materials and inventions that came along a little later in the stream of time perhaps he would have been the first man to fly - almost 400 years before the Wright brothers! But the timing wasn't right, he had the skill but not the product.

lately Rick and I have been working with some extremely talented entrepreneurs. I spent some time last night checking out their websites and was extremely impressed - these folks really know what they are doing! They have a great offering, great skills, knowledge and expertise. If I needed to develop a site, a branding or an inbound marketing strategy for a company I know where I would go and I know I would be in extremely good hands with any one of them.

Why then are these skilled professionals talking to Rick and I? Great Question - for the same reason that we would be talking to them if the shoe was on the other foot. They are experts at what they do - the missing component was Sales. We are helping them compliment and accelerate their business by 400 years (so to speak). We are giving them tools and strategies that they might have missed before. It is not that we are "better" than them, we merely offer a different area of expertise.

I have seen skilled sales people flounder with an awful offering and I have seen great sales people struggle with a terrible product. But when the two sides of the equation are balanced beautiful things start to happen. Our goal was to double their sales in 90 days and I am happy to say we are on track to do that!

I believe you mean something to the affect: "skilled sales people flounder with an awful offering and a great product struggle with poor sales people"

As a matter of fact, I'll be interviewing three of these skilled professionals when I guest host Frank's radio show on 1t noon EDT on October 13th. Click my name below to get the link so you can bookmark it, put it on your calendar and listen to their stories live. If you put a question for them in the comment section and we have time, we can ask them and have them answer.
