A Committed Caveman outsells the Empty Suit Every Time!

Nobody really knows how stonehenge was built. How were primitive people with crude tools were able to move and organize these mammoth obelisks into place. The same questions arise when we talk about the great pyramids - the design , the engineering and the labor befuddle us to this day.
What we do know is that the people involved had a strong desire to accomplish the task. Furthermore they were committed to getting it done. These two things when combined can create a synergy greater than the sum of its parts - both then and now. sometimes leading to events that leave us scratching our heads and asking "how did they get that done?"
Sales people that have a strong Desire and commitment will surprise you as well. They might close the impossible client, sell at a curiously high margin or find prospects in places you never considered. To this day two of the most crucial elements we look for are desire and commitment. Truth be told most of us don't really care with how and when our people get things done - we just need to see the results. So ask yourself "do I have the right people with the right level of commitment? Do they build things that make me wonder how did they do that?" or are you finding it necessary to babysit, hand hold or micro manage every single project in the pipeline?
Maybe it would be worth finding a caveman with desire and commitment? Watch how he does against the empty suits that are currently shuffling papers from one side of the desk to the other - caveman wins every time!
