Sales Leadership - It's Not About the Title

Dave Kurlan is a top-rated speaker, best-selling author, sales thought leader and highly regarded sales development expert.

My guest on yesterday's episode of Meet the Sales Experts was John Moore. We ended up spending much of the show talking about Sales Leadership and the three most predominant types we see:

  1. Complacency - when the business provides a lifestyle for the Top Executive/Owner
  2. Heavy-Handed - when they react to events by putting inappropriate pressure on others
  3. Denial - when they ignore the results, indicators, and opportunities

Of course there are exceptions - those who consistently exhibit strong sales leadership skill.  But for the most part, we don't see it very often.  The funny part is that the very people who think they are great sales leaders tend to be among the most misguided in this area.  It's NOT about the title, folks! Last month I wrote this more comprehensive article on Sales Leadership

The final ten minutes of yesterday's episode with John was just packed with great information that would benefit everybody.  Click here to listen to the entire show.  Click here to contact John.

I found this particular Free series of Videos on youtube very helpful. They are from Douglas Vermeeren. He has interviewed more than 400 of the world’s Top achievers. Many are calling him the modern Napoleon Hill. I have found his information very practical and it has made a significant difference in my bottom line. Here’s a link to one of the videos:

We had Doug Vermeeren come into our office today and do a presentation for us on the 101 ways to increase productivity in our workplace. It was great. I was very impressed. I have never heard of him before, but he ranks right up there with the top trainers, speakers and teachers in personal performance today. I would compare him in power to Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield or Stephen Covey. His ideas were fresh and applicable. If you are looking for someone to come in and stir things up in your copmany I highly recommend considering Doug Vermeeren. You won't be disappointed.
