In my previous post, I asked readers to write, in a single sentence, their best sales advice. So far, 31 readers have chipped in with their suggestions. In this post, I will reveal what I told that college student on Monday evening, and make an appeal to you, my readers.
First, the appeal: Send the link to the first post to everyone you know and ask them to contribute, in a single sentence, their best sales advice. If we get enough high quality contributions, we can create a new book, a compilation of the best sales advice from around the world (Singapore and Australia have already been heard from). This could be a lot of fun!
Second, my one liner: I said, "No matter what you do, sales or something entirely different, commit to being the best at what you do and to doing whatever it takes to succeed at it."
