Should I hire a sales manager or not?

Hiring the right sales manager will have a profound impact on your sales force and pay great dividends over time.  Accomplishing this takes planning, effort, commitment, and the willingness to address your personal skill gaps. 

Important considerations include:

  • Am I willing to manage them correctly?
  • Do we have the necessary infrastructure?
  • How will they be compensated?
  • What is my role?
  • How do i ensure the investment pays off?
