describe the imageI just read the post that Dan Waldschmidt wrote on Friday while I was at HUGS and I felt the irony.

There I was with 1,000 attendees at THE Hubspot event of the year watching what Dan's writing about unfold.

How many attendees were going to jump on the bandwagon and forget their dream just to be part of the crowd?

Enough. Here's Dan's post.

Rick, as I read Dan's blog and your comments, I thought about the value of being in a crowd that has the same dream that you do. There is an unmeasurable value to hanging out with others who are headed the same direction - some ahead of you, some behind you. The real test comes when you leave the crowd and return to your "Fortress of Solitude" - when there is no crowd, will you do the tough stuff that needs to be done, or will you quickly lose your momentum? 
 
(Thanks for including a picture of Stephanie and I and the rest of the gang. Though I'm not sure why SHE got to stand out front. Is it the outfit maybe?)
